It was an amazing season but the Internet connection was awful. While I made big plans to post our progress later, two years after I can only admit that I am only human. I could blame the busy schedule and the crazy amount of work that waited for me after I have returned home from the dig but it was more than that. I honestly thought that I would share all of the photos, memories and stories before 2020 season, but then the world stopped. I could blame the pandemic or the Zagreb earthquake that I couldn’t write my posts, but the truth was – it wasn’t easy going through the photos and remembering stories while thinking I might never see Safra or Jordan again.

Now it is June 2021, my team members are already back to Safra. I hope to join them soon and I feel great. I hope to share some of the highlights from the previous season before getting back to the site. I can’t make any promises
