The board is ready. The morning photo of the situation is done. I just love how something little like new boards can bring joy.

I am working on Field B which is the best field if you ask me. Our supervisor is the legendary Paul Ray and I couldn’t be happier to work and learn from the best. Our plan today was to start excavating the square 1, hence locus 1- the first layer of the square.

We did spend some time preparing the sift and after that needed to move some heavy rocks.

I think my back pain will get worse, or it might just get better. Time will tell. But that sledgehammer was quite a thing.

I am blessed to work with Liz and Jude who are experts at lifting and carrying heavy stuff.

We are expecting more people to come, so things should get easier. Until then we are at least making some progress.
